How to level up pets quickly in Wizard101? ›

This is Tartarus, which is only accessible during the Dark Hour when it rises from Gekkoukan High. To get here, use the bulletin board in the dorm lobby or speak to your navigation teammate.

Each pet starts with a certain amount of Happiness. Happiness is then used by pets when performing different pet actions, including playing in pet mode, activating Combat Talents, and activating Adventure Talents. To raise your pet's Happiness, you need to feed it pet snacks. Don't worry, you can't over feed a pet!

The Pet Pavilion can be found through a tunnel from the Wizard City Commons, close to Prospector Zeke. You can play the four pet training games by using the minigame sigils around the Pet Pavilion: Pet Cannon Game, Pet Maze Game, Pet Drop Game, and Pet Dance Game.

The most effective way to level up pets (apart from using Training Stones) is fighting against trainers. The majority of those encounters grant 5x more experience than defeating wild pets. Unfortunately a lot of those are limited to just one fight a day.

Double pet xp events tend to happen one weekend every month, usually around the 20th-25th. They tend to start on a Thursday or Friday, and run through early Monday morning. To find out if there's a member reward happening at any given time, just pull up the W101 launcher and check out the announcements.

Snacks increase your pet's statistics and make them increase in rank faster. You will receive a message about your pets approval of the snack; "Your pet ate this snack.", "Your pet likes this snack." or "Your pet loves this snack." but only 'liking' or 'loving' a snack will result in a power gain for your pet.

To get your pet to adult you will need to train him by playing the mini games and feeding him snack this is the only way to get him to adult that I know of. This does take some time at least 2 days as you will have to refill your energy. energy gains by its self 1 points for every 15 minutes.

All pets has a 50/50 chance of either getting or receiving parents egg.

To obtain the Kraken Pet you need to be a level 58 Diviner. Every school gets a quest from their teacher to get a pet from there school. As I've said, Storm is Kraken... Ice is Ice Wyvern, Fire is Phoenix, Balance is judgement, Death is Scarecrow, Life is Forest Lord, Myth is Humungofrog.

The portal to the secret shop is right beside some shops and there is a water well right in front of the shops. The portal is in the corner. It only lets you port when all the lights on the pillars light up to the top so you need to just keep coming back and checking on it or try changing realms.

To get more than 0% for any stats your pet gives, the pet attributes need to be trained. For example, if you have a damage talent and you want it to give more than 0%, you need to train strength, will, and power. As those three categories increase, so will the percentage of damage you'll get.

Every time you cast a spell, you get 3 experience per pip used (0-pip spells are worth 3 experience). Quests give much bigger rewards. The best experience comes from quests in later worlds, so the fastest way to level up and gain experience is to finish up the main quest series as fast as possible.
