Combining Forces

Since our inception in 2003 Prince William Soundkeeper has been a small, local citizen-driven organization working to bring awareness and advocate on water quality issues within Prince William Sound and its surrounding watershed.  With shrinking funding sources and increasing attacks on our environment, we've continued to struggle to fulfill our mission and grow our base support.

Increasingly PWSK has relied upon collaborating efforts to maximize effort and goals.  The Eyak Preservation Council is an organization that we have partnered with many times on issues of interest such as the Navy War Games and the proposed Shepard Point Project.

Over the past year PWSK and EPC has been discussing how to make our two organizations work together in a more permanent and structured fashion.  We are excited to see how this new vision for combining advocacy efforts and effectiveness will become a reality.  We hope you will be too.
