Shepard Point Development

09 Sep 2018 1:11 PM | Kate McLaughlin (Administrator)

The Native Village of Eyak intends to solicit the Military through their Innovative Readiness Training Program to develop Shepard Point as an oil spill response facility. This 30 day public notice was released on Friday, August 31 in the Cordova Times.

PWSK's believes that the current oil spill response equipment location and fishing vessel response program works right where it is and doesn't need to be moved to Shepard Point.

Do you think that a new oil spill response facility needs to be built?
